How To Find Those Must Buy Today Buyers

Trying to sell high heeled stilletos to grandmothers isn't going to boost your bank acount greatly.

You need to find people who are addicted to your product that you are selling. Niche marketing is where most of your sales will come from unless you come across the next big thing.

What makes a red hot niche?

You could find a niche that nobody else has discovered or one where there are heaps of people buying and you can grab a share of the pie. The latter is the easier one to operate in.

The first step in finding a good niche is to find good keywords. Keywords are the words or phrases people use in the search terms on Google, Yahoo, MSN etc.

There's plenty of free tools like http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/suggestion to help you with this. Popular high ranking keywords will however be expensive if you use them in your marketing and will attract a heap of competition.

A more economical approach is to use long tail keywords. Phrases containing 2, 3 or 4 words. For example you wouldn't target diet. Way too much competition. But you could look at weight loss for seniors which may give you a real chance to make profit.

A free tool to help you is NicheBOT Classic http://www.nichebotclassic.com

Here it's important to look at the count numbers. Ideally you should look for keywords that have a page count of 5000 or less in Google when you search for a specific phrase. To be more specific put your phrase in " ".

So get to building your list. If you are looking for ideas on what is hot, then check out http://lycos50.com and http://www.google.com/press/zeitgeist.html Both these sites will let you in on what's hot and they even expose the lastest trends in a miriad of markets.
